5 years

What a crazy rollercoaster these 5 years have been!  We've been up and down, thrown around a few loops, bumped around just a bit, and came out screaming for more!  In so many ways, 5 years is nothing.  A blink.  A blip on this journey of life.  However, so many things have happened in just 5 years.

There has been so much love and laughter in the last 5 years!  I can't wait to see what the next 5 have in store for us!!!

The Magic Mansion

That is what the Magic House has become!  That place is huge!  I have only been there for Field Trips recently, so we were only in one small part of the Magic House.
We met my good friend Jennifer and her sister in law and her kids.  Jenn lives in Florida now, so I don't get to see her as often as I would like!

To my husband....

Today we have been married for 4 amazing years!  Sometimes it seems like only yesterday, sometimes it seems like much longer!  We have been through so much over that short amount of time!  You are still my rock, my support, and my best friend!  You are such an amazing daddy and I cannot wait to see you with our little girl!  Thank you for always being so strong for us, especially when I couldn't always be!  I love you a million times over!  Here is to the rest of our lives together!  I love you babe!

                                      

                                      

 

Cardinals Care 6K

I once again participated in the Cardinals Care 6K this year.  It is one of my favorite charity races, mainly because it is so laid back and Jackie Joyner Kersee is there!

This year I convinced a few people to do the race with me, and then I found out that I would be walking it this year!!!  My girl Bridget rocked out her first race!  Heck, she ran it faster than I did the last 2 years!  Her mom Karen, and Brother in Law Gary also joined the team!  My friend Scott did it as well, despite a little honeymoon interrupting his training.  I even got the husband to agree to do it!  He was supposed to walk with me, but decided to run as much as he could with our friend Leslie.  He did pretty great, considering I can't tell you the last time he ran anywhere!  My Mother in Law walked the 1 mile fun run with Kenny in the stroller.


At the end of the race Jason Motte and his wife were there!  It was pretty awesome and it was the first time a Cardinals player has been there at the finish line.  It was a great way to raise some money for a fantastic organization and honor the late great Stan Musial!!
